This project was to transform an old 1930's cottage-y kitchen into a more modern kitchen with period Craftsman touches.
While the previous kitchen was cute, it lacked the appropriate layout to fit a stove range, dishwasher, and full refrigerator.
We closed up a window, relocated the gas and drain lines, and heating duct to fit all the modern conveniences in a tight layout, while adding ample cabinets and countertop space to work with. The apron sink, white glossy subway tile backsplash, Craftsman-style cabinets, crystal knobs, and period-appropriate chrome fixtures lend to a charming kitchen that fits the 1930's era of this home.
